Children's Ministry
"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

As a church, we invite children of all ages to be a part of the children's ministry. There are spaces for newborns and toddlers in our nursery and classes for preschoolers and elementary school every Sunday morning. We welcome your entire family to take part in learning and growing towards Christ as a part of our faith-community.
With Children's Church on Sunday mornings and regular Youth outreach events, AVBBC strives to point the children of our community to the saving grace found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Kids Club Meetings (Ages 4-12) gather on Sundays at 6:00pm during the months of September - May (during the school year).
Students & Youth

Armstrong Valley student ministry is designed to help middle school and high school students grow their faith, their character, and their relationships. It’s about creating an atmosphere that is Christ-focused where they can belong. We encourage our youth to be involved in everything we do from inviting, participating in activities and serving.
Through regular Teen Outreach activities, our young people seek to proclaim their faith and invite others to experience the power of the gospel.
Weekly Teen Youth Meetings (Ages 13-18) gather on Sundays at 6:00pm during the months of September - May (during the school year).
Door to Door Outreach
"And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ." ~ Acts 5:42
As members of Armstrong Valley Bible Baptist Church, we regularly engage our local community with the gospel. Through door to door outreach, we're actively taking the Great Commission to the streets and neighborhoods of Halifax and beyond.
We believe there is no greater message than the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, and there is no better time to proclaim it than right now.
Counseling Services

At Armstrong Valley, we believe the Word of God has the power to heal broken people, mend torn relationships, and bring purpose and vision to wandering hearts.
Although the circumstances of life can be complex and nuanced, we know that the answers to our questions are best explored together in a community of faith.
We're happy to sit with you and provide that face-to-face forum for discovering the simple truths of God's Word and applying them together.
Missions Program

AVBBC is committed to missions - not just locally, but also around the world.
We regularly support our local and foreign missionaries both financially and prayerfully - partnering together with them for the sake of the gospel.
From time to time we are thrilled to present new missions works for support consideration, and to celebrate God's faithfulness together through regular missions reports from our existing missionaries.
Senior Saints

At AVBBC, we love our Senior Saints. There's just something special about being around someone who has been down the road and experienced the ups and downs of life. We take every opportunity to honor our seniors and provide opportunities for fellowship and Christian growth.
